A Taste of Pearl and Common Era

taste of pearl

Every so often, the Downtown Boulder Association puts on some great events. Last Summer Common Era participated in a series called “First Fridays” and now we have been chosen to participate in this month’s Taste of Pearl.

The idea behind the event is to expose and promote Boulder businesses- wineries, restaurants and merchants. On Sunday April 25th you can stroll down Pearl Street Mall visiting clothing stores, art galleries, book stores and more while tasting delicious wines and food from some of Boulder’s hottest chefs. This is a great community event, a wonderful way to meet people and support local businesses. And let’s be honest- it would probably make a great date night as well! So why not use it as an excuse to ask out that guy you’ve seen around the office? You could try on a few outfits at Common Era and see how he reacts! Isn’t that the funny montage they always show in romantic comedies? Then he tries some silly sunglasses and you walk out of here hand in hand! Mission accomplished!

The event takes place on a Sunday afternoon from 2pm – 6pm, which is plenty of time to drink up, eat up, and buy a few souvenirs to take home with you. The tickets are for sale through their website, Taste of Pearl and $52.80 is not a bad price when you consider the price of food and wine these days. Not to mention a portion of the proceeds go to the Emergency Family Assistance Association, a very good cuase.

And just to sweeten the deal (because Common Era cannot resist sweetening a deal) we will be offering a discount of 30% off anything and everything in the whole store to all Taste of Pearl ticket holders, all day long on Sunday April 25th from 12:00 – 6:00.

See you there!
