It’s time for another in-store event! We’ve had anniversary parties, A Taste of Pearl events and “Girl’s Night Out,” and to celebrate the warm weather we will be doing another Tips and Sips evening at Common Era in Boulder, 1500 D Pearl Street. This Wednesday, June 16th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
Tips and Sips is a chance for you and your girlfriends to enjoy a fun-filled evening of tips and demonstrations given by a team of style experts (Worth While Style) all while shopping, sipping on wine and tasting sweet treats.
Learn how to look hot and stay cool this Summer and find clothing that works with your body type! Not everyone knows what colors or shapes flatter their body type or their skin color. That’s why Tina Gill will be there, along with our fashion expert and store owner, Debra Mazur, to help make you look your best. A personal shopper is usually a luxury that only the rich and famous can afford, but this Wednesday June 16th you will have access to all the expert advice you could ever need!

Sometimes you just want to have a night with the girls- where you can talk about the things that are important to you, gush about clothes and accessories, try on lipsticks and shoes and pretty much just celebrate the gorgeous, smart, independent woman that you are. Oh- and what about delightful snacks? Yup, we got that covered.
Tips and Sips was a night of fun and fashion hosted at our Denver location at 1543 Platte Street, that not only gave our wonderful customers access to our clothes and the professional guidance from our own style guru Debra Mazur, but each girl was asked to bring a gently used handbag or pair of dress shoes to benefit Dress for Success. Dress for Success is an international non-profit that helps low-income women get and maintain jobs in order to be more self-sufficient.
The other experts who attended that night and helped so many girls with their hair, make-up and style choices are:

The night was a total success and everyone had a blast. Eyebrows were reshaped, the benefits of cream versus powder blush were discussed and ankle boots were tried on. Not that it was all fluff of course! The most delightful part of the evening was sharing a room with so many talented women from different backgrounds who have each made their own way in the world and had success by pursuing what they were most interested in. Creative women unite!
